RAZER Deathadder v4 Pro | The mel0n Review

Hey everyone, welcome back to another episode of the Melon Review! Today, I'm very excited to be reviewing the new Razer Deathadder V4 Pro. Those of you who've been watching the channel for a while will know I love ergos, and the Deathadder V3 is one of my favorite ergos of all time, being in my rotation despite it being almost two years old. While I really liked that mouse, since its release, the rest of the market has caught up, and the Deathadder has stagnated, so to speak, as there haven't been any significant improvements to the lineup since the V3's initial release. But that finally changes today, as the Deathadder V4 Pro is a significant improvement over not only the previous iterations of the Deathadder but also Razer's more recent releases, like the Viper V3 Pro. These improvements mainly come in the form of internals, as the V4 Pro's shape is the same as the V3 versions, but the internal components have been significantly upgraded. Not only is the mouse using an upgraded version of the Focus Pro Gen II sensor, it's also using a brand-new optical scroll wheel encoder, new Razer Gen-4 Optical switches, a new antenna architecture and design, but most importantly, the V4 Pro is using a brand-new MCU, which not only significantly improved the mouse's power optimizations but also its latency. On top of all this, as if the improvements here weren't impressive enough, the V4 Pro's connectivity types have also been improved, as the V4 supports both wired and wireless 8K polling, which is another fantastic improvement. But, while the V4 Pro boasts many improvements across the board, the mouse isn't perfect, as it repeats some of the same mistakes of Razer's previous releases, specifically when it comes to the mouse's accessories. Despite these flaws, the V4 Pro appears to be a fantastic refresh of the stagnated Deathadder series. But are these improvements Razer has made to the Deathadder enough for it to reclaim its title as the best ergo mouse on the market? Or does the Deathadder still feel stagnant compared to the other ergo mice on the market? Well, in today's episode of the Melon Review, we're going to answer that question, as well as talk in-depth about Razer's latest release's pros and cons. I hope you enjoy the review, and if you do, be sure to leave a like on the video and subscribe to the channel so you don't miss any future reviews, as well as the Deathadder V4 Pro's TEARDOWN video! Thanks for watching, and I'll catch you all in the next episode. Peace ✌️ ⚠ Disclaimer: Thank you very much to RAZER for sending over the Deathadder V4 Pro for review!
