How To: Making Paper Beads

Paper beads seem to be rising in popularity (everything cycles back around!) There are specialty tools you can buy, templates and cut paper to purchase.... but you can also just make it all yourself. Certainly it makes sense to make some on your own before you decide that you want to invest in any of the tools - if ever! If you're looking for an activity for children then this is perfect! Scrap paper and glue and you're set. Once you have the paper cut you can leave the kids to continue making beads as long as they want! Although I seal mine in the video, if making these with children I wouldn't bother... they will want to string and wear them immediately and that's just fine! It goes without saying that they are not pool or sprinkler friendly!!
