2024 Florida State Hurricane Season Expert Briefing

Florida State University faculty members shared their insights into the 2024 hurricane season with members of the news media in a virtual briefing. Faculty members participating in the event were Professor of Meteorology and Associate Director of the Center for Ocean-Atmospheric Prediction Studies Mark Bourassa, State Climatologist and Associate in Research David Zierden, Professor of Risk Management and Insurance Patricia Born, Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering Pedro L.
