OET Listening Part A Vocabulary: Adjectives ending in "y' Practice
In this lesson covers OET Listening Part A, common "y" adjectives e.g. pasty, flaky, used by patients, and in everyday Medical English. The design is simple yet effective. Through clear explanations, examples, and listening-focused practice, you will learn how these words are commonly used in patient descriptions and healthcare conversations. You will learn words like 'pasty', 'flaky', and 'skinny', with their pronunciation, spelling and meaning in context. In addition, we will explore using the vocabulary in 'contrast language', something that is very common amongst patients when they compare their current symptoms with what is normal for them. By the end of the lesson, you will feel more confident understanding patient language and identifying key vocabulary in OET Listening Part A.
