Part two of my Santo Antão hiking adventure in Cape Verde 🇨🇻 After completing the famous coastal trail from Ponta do Sol to Cruzinha, the journey continues as I make my way back through the mountains of Santo Antão — crossing steep valleys, remote villages, and some of the most dramatic landscapes anywhere in Africa. This side of the island feels completely different. Massive green peaks rise above the clouds, ancient stone paths connect isolated communities, and every turn reveals another unbelievable view. The hike back to Ponta do Sol was tougher, quieter, and somehow even more rewarding. Santo Antão has quickly become one of my favorite hiking destinations in the world.
