150 Years of the Villa Grebovka
In 2021, the remarkable Villa Grebovka, home to the CEELI Institute, celebrated its 150th anniversary. This renowned Czech landmark, sitting high above a vineyard in the southern part of Prague, has been a witness to the turbulent history of Central and Eastern Europe. As the Institute’s headquarters, it now annually hosts thousands of judges, lawyers, human rights defenders, and others committed to advancing the rule of law.
