What a spectacle! The horns, the singers, the dancers. The man himself. It was awesome. One odd thing, though. The show was a Georgia State U. production for students with ticket sold to the public, as well. Now I had always read about the rowdy bacchanalia, especially the dancing, at Fela concerts, so I expected that. Center Stage has an open floor in front of the stage and then seats going up. If anyone dared to get up and dance, what appeared to be exchange students or African ex-pats yelled at them until they sat down. No dancing at the Fela concert. WTF?
