This video shows me installing an Amon 4-pole relay on a Yamaha Dragstar 400. Originally, I was getting USB power from the accessory power supply, but I decided to install a relay to accommodate adding multiple electrical devices in the future. The benefit of installing a relay is that it allows me to safely draw large amounts of power from the battery (although there is a limit to the amount of power that can be generated). Drawing power directly from the accessory may affect various other electrical devices due to wiring thickness and fuse issues. I recommend installing a relay in the winter if you plan to use a heater or similar device. In the video, the current (amperes) is calculated from the voltage and power (watts): Power (W) = Voltage (V) x Current (A) 240W = 12V x A = 20A So I used a 20A fuse. *In reality, battery voltage can vary from 12V to 14.7V, but the calculations are based on a fixed 12V.
