He Recreated His Dad's F100 With a Godzilla Swap

Dave picks up his 1970 F100 — a Godzilla-swapped tribute to the 1968 F100 his dad drove every day, gave him when he turned 16, and that he's regretted selling ever since. Same Boxwood Green over Wimbledon White, same bumpside camper special long bed, same vibe he grew up with. The truck is built on an FFG chassis with Fox coilover shocks, rolling on 37s with Mickey Thompson wheels. Under the hood is a Ford 7.3 Godzilla, and Dave's reaction on the test drive says it all — "scary fast." It's got the stance and the power of a show truck but it's built to drive, and Dave's plan is to put real miles on it this summer taking it up to Telluride.
