The crowd lap up everything the boys play tonight, and this helps make the performance more of a memorable one for the tour, despite the fact the band are pretty quiet to the audience tonight. A couple years back, bootleg label Wardour released what a new DAT source of this show, was very clear albeit a bit distant (which i’ve tried to rectify with this remaster). Of course, being early 1996, Liam still sounds great throughout the night and the band put on a good gig. Noel’s acoustic set is done passionately as always too. His acoustic set hasn’t changed tonight, and this three-way punch of Whatever, Wonderwall and Slide Away would stick for the rest of the month. Liam mentions before I Am The Walrus how the band “made it through the set this time around”. They had played Indianapolis last year, but had walked out during the performance (I’m not sure why). Oasis would return to the same building again for their next visit in Indianapolis in 2000, but they’d play the bigger Murat Theatre that time around.
