Como teñir merino con colorante alimentario (Dr Oetker) en microondas

Hi! Today I'm back with another "Dye Maker for a Day" video. After dyeing plant-based fibers this summer, we're starting the warmer season by dyeing animal-based fibers. In this video, I'm going to show you how I dyed some skeins of Drops Baby Merino yarn, which I previously wound into skeins (I now use a yarn winder, but I used to do it this way:    • De ovillo a madeja  . We're going to knit this solid light gray color (which the skein already has) with some colorful speckles. We'll do it quickly and easily with food coloring (I used these little tubes from Dr. Oetker) and a microwave. Want to join me and see how it turns out? I hope you enjoy it and that you do a lot of dyeing! If you want to see more of my experiments with yarn and dyes, hit the bell icon and stay tuned. Here's a link to my other videos. Experiments:    • Tintorera por un día - Dye Yarn   Now I can't wait to get my needles out with these skeins. Kisses ____________________________________ For the dyes, I used these proportions of water and drops of dye (although some drops were larger than others): Blue: 20 ml water + 10 drops Green: 30 ml water + 15 drops Yellow: 20 ml water + 10 drops Purple: 30 ml water + 16 drops of red + 7 drops of blue ___________________________________________________________ Instagram:   / 30ypunto   Facebook:   / 30ypunto   Ravelry: https://www.ravelry.com/people/30yPunto/ Music: https://www.bensound.com
