Destination Kohler: Spa, The Straits, & Channeling my Inner Speith

Hi! As promised, here is the recap and review of Stacey and my 21st Anniversary trip to The American Club & Whistling Straits. Our top three experiences from a fun-filled long weekend follow here: 1. Taking in the beauty and history of The American Club. A former dormitory created by Walter Kohler to provide immigrants a beautiful, welcoming place to stay while working at the Kohler factory and saving money to bring their families to the USA, The American Club is a must-see in its own right given its history and beauty. Grab a cocktail and dinner at The Wisconsin Room followed by a milkshake at The Greenhouse! 2. The Cascading Waterfall treatment at Kohler Waters Spa. A specially designed shower with multiple heads drenches you in hot water while you enjoy a full body massage. It’s even more amazing than it sounds. 3. 18 holes at the Straits Course at Whistling Straits. Home of the the 2004, 2010, and 2015 @pgatour Championships, the 2007 US Senior Open, and the 2020 Ryder Cup (played in 2021), the Straits is a challenging links style golf experience that boasts spectacular views of the Lake Michigan shoreline. This course exceeded every expectation that I had coming into our trip, and is an absolute must play for any golf aficionado. All in all, Kohler was amazing. As in the video, I was really impressed by the attention to detail and personal touch provided by the staff, because they made this anniversary trip a super experience all the way around.
