Slow Start… But the Navi Pushed Me Over $100

Delivery day in Las Vegas with a slow lunch shift, a busy evening on the Honda Navi, and just enough orders to push the day over the $100 mark. The day started in the car during lunch. I was running errands between deliveries, so I wasn’t actively chasing orders throughout the shift. Only one DoorDash order came through during lunch, paying about $13 and change. After wrapping up lunch, I came back out later for dinner on the Honda Navi. The evening started with a decent-sized DoorDash order that included a couple large bags of food and several drinks. After that, I picked up another quick order before things slowed down for a bit. Later in the shift, I received a larger pizza order that took me into the south zone. The timing worked out perfectly because the ride down happened during sunset, making for a great evening ride on the Navi. As soon as I completed that delivery, DoorDash sent another order. The interesting part was that the pickup was all the way back in the home zone, even though I was already pretty far away. I wasn’t expecting to receive that offer, but I accepted it and headed back. That delivery ended at a gated community where I had to wait for another vehicle to help trigger the exit gate. To finish the night, I completed one final DoorDash order that pushed the day over the $100 mark. Dinner shift finished with: • $77 on DoorDash • $11 on Uber Eats The full day ended at approximately $101.
