Destiny 2 Lore - The end of the road for Dredgen Bael

Destiny 2's Lore and Story concerning Dredgen Bael ends with him in a state of defeat. He attempted to find a replacement for his Guardian killing weapon, Nightfall Station. This led him to the Weapons of Sorrow and in particular the Forge of Sorrow on Luna. He planned to claim it and arm an army of Dredgens in the name of Six, his master. But when he failed, Six showed him the future that was no longer possible and left him. He is no longer the alternate weapon of the Outer Orbits. He is now just a husk of a man and with that he has been left to find his own fate in a future bereft of the glory that he was once promised.
