According to previous knowledge, a 22-year-old bus driver drove down Esserstraße in the direction of Iserlohner Straße at around 8:30 a.m. There he came off the road to the right for an as yet unexplained cause. Here he pushed several parked cars on top of each other. In the first met a woman (57) was sitting. Then the bus drove into oncoming traffic, where it collided head-on with a coach.
