Alone at a Low-Income Market in Vietnam

Living alone on a low income in Vietnam, I visit a local budget market in Tuy Hoa to explore everyday food, prices, and local life. This traditional Vietnamese market has affordable clothes, fresh seafood, street food, coffee, and many friendly local vendors. I walked around the market, talked with the sellers, tried a bowl of bánh canh, and enjoyed a simple cup of Vietnamese coffee. Life here is not rich or luxurious, but I am grateful for these quiet and simple moments.
