Dohnányi Ernő születésének 146. évfordulója alkalmából örömmel osztom meg c-moll orgonafantáziájának világelső felvételét, amelyet a Révkomáromi Szent András-bazilika romantikus Buckow-Rieger (1864/1899) orgonáján készítettem a mű eredeti kézirata alapján. "Fantasie für die Orgel" című művét 1892 augusztusában, 15 éves korában komponálta Breznóbányán az ifjú Dohnányi Ernő, akinek Forstner Károly, a Pozsonyi Dóm orgonistájának növendékeként fontos szerepet töltött be az életében az orgona. A bemutatóra a Breznóbányai evangélikus templom, op. 150-es számú Rieger-orgonáján került sor 1892.08.23-án. A mű ajánlása Franz Regernek, a templom orgonistájának szól. Fontos szempont volt számomra, hogy a leginkább autentikus történelmi hangszeren készüljön el a felvétel, így esett a választás a csodálatos révkomáromi orgonára, amely a zeneszerző által megkívánt valamennyi hangszínnel rendelkezik. On the occasion of the 146th anniversary of Ernst von Dohnányi's birth, I am happy to share the world premiere recording of his Organ Fantasy in C minor, which I recorded on the romantic Buckow-Rieger (1864/1899) organ of the St. Andrew's Basilica in Komarno. My interpretation based on the original manuscripts of the piece. The “Fantasie für die Orgel” was composed in August 1892, by the 15 years old Dohnányi in Breznóbánya. The organ played an important role in his life in that time as a student of Károly Forstner, the organist of Bratislava Cathedral. He premiered the piece on the Rieger organ (Op. 150) of Breznóbánya Lutheran Church and dedicated to Franz Reger, the church’s organist. It was an important aspect for me to make the recording on the most authentic historical instrument, that is why I chose the amazing organ of Komarno Cathedral, which has all the registers required by the composer.
