M-Audio Hammer 88 is my personal favorite and number 1 recommended midi keyboard for the pianist. It offers a minimalist set up with solid build, fully weight keys, full sized keys, input for the three piano pedals commonly used, offers half pedal, and excellent velocity and dynamic controls with any VST Library you are using.
