HISTORIA DO BIG BOY NA TV BRASIL - ICONE DO RADIO

A program in homage to Big Boy. A radio broadcaster who revolutionized the way of communicating. Big Boy, pseudonym of Newton Alvarenga Duarte (Rio de Janeiro, June 1, 1943 - São Paulo, March 7, 1977), was the most important disc jockey of his time, responsible for a true revolution in Brazilian radio. As an announcer, he introduced a youthful language, closer to his audience. His "hello crazy people!", the irreverent way he greeted listeners, became a trademark of his own relaxed style, different from the affected voices of announcers at the time. As a programmer, he demonstrated extreme sensitivity in capturing the public's taste, observing musical trends around the world and innovating with ideas that would modify an entire established programming system.
