Maine ICE shooting: Man killed was not target of warrant, officials say
A recent ICE operation in Maine led to a deadly shooting, drawing attention from state leaders. The Department of Homeland Security claimed the incident took place as officers were serving a removal order and opened fire when a person tried to flee in a vehicle. Maine Sen. Angus King reported that the person killed was not the subject of the warrant.
