Michael “Rabbit” Waddell | Richmond County Raiders Legend | North Carolina High School Football

Before he became a Tar Heel and NFL draft pick, Michael “Rabbit” Waddell was one of the most electrifying players North Carolina high school football has ever seen. The Richmond County star helped lead the Raiders to two state championships while earning Parade All-American honors. Waddell rushed for 1,564 yards and 20 touchdowns as a senior, but his biggest legacy came on special teams, where he set NCHSAA records with seven punt return touchdowns in a season and nine in a career—marks that still stand today. His football journey continued at UNC before reaching the NFL with the Tennessee Titans and Oakland Raiders. #MichaelWaddell #RabbitWaddell #RichmondCounty #RichmondSenior #RaidersFootball #NCHSAA #NorthCarolinaFootball #HighSchoolFootball #UNCFootball #TarHeels #NFLDraft #TennesseeTitans #OaklandRaiders #FootballLegend #ChrisClarkSports
