Sanyo VTC5000 Betacord Betamax VCR - I'd forgotten how good these were...
I'd forgotten just how good these machines are - they're maybe not as quirky and fun to use as a Sony but they do give great results as basic playback machine. This looked like a low hours machine but sadly had been exposed to damp for many years but with some work it's really great now - I have run this machine for 10 hours so far and it's been great, solid, reliable and just seems to get better and better.
