The modern Al Ashriyyah Boarding School is located in Warujaya Village, Parung District, Bogor Regency. This boarding school is free for male and female students who wish to stay. This modern boarding school was founded by Habib Seggaf bin Mahdi and his wife, Dr. Umi Waheeda. Habib Seggaf bin Mahdi was born in Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara, on August 15, 1945. He passed away on September 12, 2010, and was buried next to the Toha Mosque in the Bumi Al Ashriyyah Nurul Iman Boarding School complex in Warujaya Village, Parung, Bogor.
