Sutrimo's name was recently linked in a chain message as the head of the household (Karumga) belonging to the suspect, former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Febrie Adriansyah. The Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Senior Commissioner Budi Hermanto, stated that Sutrimo was found unconscious and foaming at the mouth in the courtyard of the Mordent Clinic on Thursday (July 23, 2026). The victim was then taken by ambulance to Muhammadiyah Hospital Taman Puring. However, the hospital explained that Sutrimo had arrived already deceased. Budi also expressed his condolences for the victim's passing. "The Jakarta Metropolitan Police (Polda Metro Jaya) expresses its condolences for the passing of Mr. Sutrimo.
