Napoleon Bonaparte fought one of the greatest battles in the history of Brescia, the Battle of Lonato. I will tell you about the series of maneuvers and clashes that saw at least five major battles, which took place in Lonato, Castiglione, Salò and Gavardo. The whole story was resolved in just over a week, between July 28 and August 5, 1796, during the first Italian campaign.
