E-Episode: Introducing the 2018 SCOTT E-genius 720 For 2018, the E-Genius has undergone a complete makeover! Only the name and tire width remain :) Gone is the Bosch CX motor and its offset main pivot. Gone is the 150 x 12 mm DH axle at the rear, replaced by a 148 mm Boost hub! New generation geometry as well, with a steeper seatpost angle, much shorter chainstays, a longer top tube, and a more raked head tube angle... Also note that this frame and fork can be mounted with either a 29 x 2.6" or 27.5 x 2.8" wheel... just a small part at the linkage to turn to adjust the geometry. You're definitely looking at a 3rd generation e-MTB!
