Instead of singing, "Now I listen and laugh," Grande performed, "I know he still got my back," prompting cheers from fans. Alvarez, who attended the concert, appeared to smile at the lyric change, while audience members also spotted who they believed to be Grande’s dad acknowledging him during the moment.
