Making Paper From Grass... and Printing On It

My name is Cory and I am a small town artist making environmental and ecological inspired artwork. In this video I document and talk about the ideas behind my latest artwork titled Grass Is Growing Under Our Feet. In this video I make paper out of wild green grass that springs up yearly in my town. The paper then becomes the surface for digital printmaking in which I print photographs of the grass itself onto the paper. Papermaking from plants was a fun process and learning experience for me. The piece itself is a bit of a conceptual one and hopefully makes you scratch your head.
