Mbalula to brief media on Ngcobo shootout that left 7 suspects dead
The Hawks have confirmed that 7 people have been killed during a shootout with Eastern Cape police last night. Those killed were suspects of Wednesday's early morning attack on a police station in Ngcobo. The suspects are reported to have been hiding in a church when the shootout ensued. Hawks Spokesperson, Hangwani Mulaudzi, says the police squad worked hard to track the suspects. The team was investigating this week's murders of five police officers and a retired soldier.
