Streamline Cloud-Native App Development Using CDEs by Saeed Zarinfam @ Spring I/O 2025

Spring I/O 2025 - 21-23 May, Barcelona Slides: https://speakerdeck.com/saeedzf/strea... Spring Boot is one of the best frameworks for developing cloud-native applications. However, it is inherently challenging to develop cloud-native applications, and tools such as Minikube, Skaffold, or Tilt will help us to make this process manageable. With the advent of Cloud Development Environments (CDEs), we can streamline the process of developing cloud-native applications even more. In this session, I want to talk about my experience with CDEs (open-source and managed) and Cloud-based development environment standards such as Dev Containers and, with a practical example, dive into how they streamline the process of cloud-native application development.
