Our Tips: 1. Use an angle you can repeat in the field. If you have a field sharpener that sharpens at 20 degrees, use a 20 degree sharpener at home. 2. Sharpen all your knives at once. This improves practice and efficiency. Sharpen all knives on a medium or coarse abrasive, then progress to finer grits for all knives. 3. Use proper technique - know your sharpener, and don't round the tip! Sharpen each side of the blade symmetrically, and stop with the tip of the knife on the abrasive.
