"And she said YES" It was a random Saturday afternoon, and Adam had made us a lunch reservation at a local Brooklyn restaurant. Adam sets up reservations frequently, so Kamakshi did not think twice about it. It was a lazy morning that day, and she wondered if she needed to dress up or put on makeup - not in the mood to do either. Adam mentioned he had to drop off laundry in advance of the lunch. The location of the restaurant was a secret for Kamakshi, but we walked there since it was nearby. Adam led us through Fort Greene Park, saying the restaurant was on the north side of the park. The minute we stepped into the park though, Kamakshi grew suspicious, was this a proposal?! Her mind instantly went to the conversation about laundry, Adam would not have spoken about laundry in advance of a proposal! So she pushed her suspicions aside. Fort Greene Park has a beautiful hill, and as they descended the grand stairs, Adam clutched on to Kamakshi's hand tightly and started to tell her how much she meant to him. That was when she knew - it was definitely happening! A few seconds later, he was down on his knee, and it was a very happy shock. After this joyous moment, they celebrated with friends and family, and the rest is happily ever after. Kamakshi and Adam got married in November 2022 at Nanu Resort Arambol, Goa.
