A tour of the Nationaal Militair Museum in Soesterberg, Netherlands
I hope you enjoy this video walk through of this amazing museum located just outside of Utrecht in Soesterberg, Netherlands. We had the opportunity to visit the location after being away for 45 years and it was great to see the area where my father served from 1973 to 1981. This museum rivals some of the best I've experienced around the world, so you should definitely put it on your list as you visit the Netherlands. It will definitely be a destination for the military enthusiasts you know, but it also has a ton of activities for kids as well, so plan on spending at least half a day. Check out my other videos from our trip throughout the Netherlands in July of 2025, and check out my books and travel journals available at www.FIGIDPress.com. For information on the museum, visit their official website here: https://www.nmm.nl/en/
