For years I've visited Bangkok, but this time I wanted to explore a different side of the city. Not the malls. Not the tourist attractions. I spent 24 hours exploring Bangkok's historic Chinese neighborhood of Talat Noi and Chinatown, walking through old streets, family-run food stalls, hidden coffee shops, and meeting locals who have been keeping these traditions alive for generations. Talat Noi is one of Bangkok's oldest Chinese communities, known for its narrow alleys, street art, old workshops, and incredible food culture. Today it has become one of the most interesting areas in the city while still keeping its original character.
