Carrie Avenue Railroad Crossing #2, St Louis, MO

-Owner and maintainer of this crossing: Norfolk Southern. -Line: St Louis District. -At 11:42am, a WB NS intermodal creeps through the Carrie Avenue railroad crossing #2 in St Louis, MO, as it passes through Luther Yard. It stops multiple times but eventually fully crosses. -Signal on the right: 5 pairs of Safetran 12×20 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, a Safetran mechanical bell, and NEG incandescent gate lights. -Signal on the left: 4 pairs of Safetran 12×20 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG incandescent gate lights. I continued railfanning St Louis on 5-9-20. My first catch was this WB NS entering/exiting Luther Yard. It had a NS ES40DC, a D9-44CW and a AC44C6M for power. This is a nice crossing, featuring a pair of pure 90s NS signals! The Safetran bell is still going strong here, and I'm very surprised the incandescent gate lights remain here. Enjoy!
