At 4:30 a.m., all is still well with the world, and work has already been underway for some time at the Eichhof farm in Großbarkau near Kiel. Kherstin, Felix's mother, is producing various types of yogurt in the farm's own dairy, together with her early-rising team. Everything is done smoothly – despite the early hour – and that's important because the first driver arrives at 6:00 a.m. to begin deliveries. Around that time, Bert, Felix's father, is in the milking parlor, helping out. It's a job he's been doing for more than forty years. But that's certainly not all Bert has on his plate today. He also has to perform artificial insemination on a young animal. This is a challenge because it's done under time pressure, and Bert doesn't know if he'll be able to catch the young animal in time. Meanwhile, Felix is ​​busy with the initial preparations for the farm festival at Eichhof.
