First Steps to Agroecology
The 2022 Master Gardener Volunteer Webinar Series features research and Extension from the University of Florida. This session covers the basics of agroecology, the creation of an agroecosystem, and its benefits for the environment. Dr. Zack Brym presents "First Steps to Agroecology: Know and Plan Your Agroecosystem." He is a UF/IFAS Extension Specialist from the Agronomy Department. Zack is located in South Florida at the Tropical Research Education Center. With his focus on agroecology, he investigates how food production systems can remain profitable while still protecting nature and preserving natural resources.
