Queste le parole di Martin Luther King nell’accettare il Premio Nobel per la Pace il secolo scorso. Ma negli Stati Uniti di oggi ben poco è cambiato. E la brutalità emersa nel 2020 testimoniano che per la comunità afroamericana il sogno americano ancora non si è realizzato. 🇬🇧 “Once Upon a Time in America” by Jacopo Allegrucci “We have learned to fly the air like birds and swim the sea like fish, but we have not learned the simple art of living together as brothers”. There were the words spoken by Martin Luther King when accepting the Nobel Peace Prize one century ago. Little has changed in the United States since then. The brutality that surfaced in 2020 are proof that that the American dream has yet to be fulfilled in the African American community.
