The perpetrator was arrested while attempting to flee to his residence in the Kemiling District of Bandar Lampung City on Friday (June 26, 2026) at approximately 9:00 a.m. WIB. Acting Head of Public Relations for the Tangerang City Metro Police, AKP Iwan Heriestiawan, confirmed that FP was immediately arrested and taken to the Tangerang City Metro Police for further legal proceedings. FP has now been officially named a suspect. As is known, FP is suspected of committing the assault at the Modernland Modern Golf Course on Tuesday (June 23, 2026) at approximately 7:51 p.m. WIB. The motive for the assault was a romantic dispute and jealousy between the victim and the perpetrator. The victim was known to be a caddy who frequently accompanied FP during his golf sessions. During the incident, the perpetrator asked a golf course attendant, identified as VD, to buy him a drink. After accepting the drink, the perpetrator thanked him by calling him "darling." This remark was overheard by the victim, sparking an argument. The victim then became enraged, leading to an argument that culminated in the assault.
