With over 14 pieces in the box, the Sunseeker 4IN1 can seem overwhelming at first, but quickly goes together. One of the first negatives we ran across with the whole package, was the lack of a bag or some way to contain all the pieces so they don't get lost. One of the first things you'll need to remember when putting the attachment pieces onto the unit it making sure the internal drive shaft is set in place properly. It's kind of misleading looking at it, because you'll think to yourself, it looks like it's in place, but check again. Before using or attaching any of the tools, you need to make sure the internal drive shaft is keyed into the motor correctly so that full engagement is made when you do attache the trimmer, hedge clipper or chain saw. The same goes for the attachment pieces, you also have to make sure their internal drive shafts are also keyed correctly to the head units, again so that once the shafts are put together, they make a solid one piece to the motor. The first tool I used was the chain saw attachment. This little guy looks sturdy and robust, but looks can be deceiving. Once I started revving the motor and trying to cut through the stump root, the unit would bog down and not work at full power. At first I thought it was the internal drive shaft not being fully connected to the motor drive shaft, however it was seated correctly. What I forgot to do to begin with was insert grease into the zerks that are provided on the head units. Once I did that, the chain saw seemed to work better, but still couldn't cut through the stump root. Next I tried using it on an alive bush and with varied results I was finally able to get it to cut the bush up. It basically required me to use a sawing motion to help the saw cut through. Next up was the grass trimmer attachment of the Sunseeker 4IN1. This trimmer attachment is very well built and comes with a spool of trimmer wire already installed. The trimmer worked as you'd expect, slicing and dicing my overgrown grass along the deck and patio perimeter with easy. Since it's spring time, I don't really have any overgrow weeds to deal with so I didn't mount the heavy duty 3 blade brush trimmer...we'll get to using this later this summer. Last up for the attachment pieces was the hedge trimmer. Again I had issues right at the get go with the head unit because I didn't grease the zerks. Once I did however, the unit cut through my over grown hedges with ease and speed. I went a little overboard trimmer down the hedges, but they will surely grow back in force. This attachment worked the best out of all the pieces on the Sunseeker 4IN1 Multi Tool Pole Saw. So whats are fine thoughts on the Sunseeker 4IN1 Pole Saw? We give it a stamp of Nailed and a score of 6.5/10 because of the issues with the chain saw. Overall this tool will be a great addition to your shed of yard tools, but be sure to keep track of the internal drive shafts as they can fall out completely. Some other issues we didn't mention in the video was the gas mixture. The Sunseeker 4IN1 uses a standard 50:1 ratio of gas and 2 stroke oil, but at this ratio we found it to be way to rich for the motor. Depending on the oil brand you're using, you may want to start with less oil in your fuel mixture as we did off camera. Once I did this, I actually seemed to get better performance out of the motor so depending on the 2 stroke oil your using, you may need to adjust your mixture.
