La copla, a la guitarra | Carles Trepat
Strictly speaking, the copla cannot be said to be flamenco. However, both genres share turns, melodic gestures and harmonic progressions and it wasn’t uncommon for artists to leap from one to another. Carles Trepat passes López-Quiroga, Mostazo, Esquembre and Barrios through the flamenco sieve to come up with guitar versions of well-known coplas. Works by Ángel Barrios (1882-1964), Federico García Lorca (1898-1936), Juan Mostazo (1903-1938), Quintín Esquembre (1885-1965) and Manuel López-Quiroga (1899-1988) Carles Trepat, guitar "The copla", forth and last concert from the cyclew "Aflamencados" https://www.march.es/musica/detalle.a...
