BLK IS… is a mini documentary that was made to celebrate Black History Month, and commemorate the contributions African Americans made towards both American history and global history. Time and time again Black people are told what they can & cannot achieve when in actuality, we break records, set trends, and create culture all the time. Regardless of the month, day, or year, BLK should ALWAYS be celebrated! –Postscriptum– This production began in January 2026 in the midst of the winter storm filmed on the campus of Howard University with minimal equipment and small crew. So many unexpected, surprising things occurred during the course of this project and through post-production that was taken with a grain of salt and only pushed me further to complete a working product because BLK IS RESILIENT. 😂 I hope you enjoy this non-perfect short film of mine and my first of future works!
