Peter Buchan Fisherman & writer , poet Peterhead

Peter Buchan was well known throughout Buchan as a Peterhead skipper and a much wider area as a successful writer and poet. Peter was a down to earth man who was proud of his north east tongue which he spoke with his fisher accent; which he was also proud of. Peter gave a truly inspiring sermon at Tyrie Church in the pure north east tongue; not a word of English.
