Setting up tabletweaving: For absolute beginners
Making the ancient crafts of tablet weaving. Known from many ages, I focus on Iron Age/Viking in Scandinavia. This is meant as a follow up video to another video I’ve done about the basics of tablet weaving. That video will be uploaded as soon as I can get this damn phone to do what I want. Anyway I’m using the book ‘Applesies and Fox noses - Finnish Tabletwoven Bands’ by Maikki Karisto and Mervi Pasanen. It has some great patterns that are easy to follow once you’ve learned the basics of this technique.
