*PRESERVED* | Journey On South of England Bus Festival Route A | 3995 (GX03 SSZ)

A journey onboard preserved former Go North East Scania Omnidekka N94UD 3995 operating route A between Haywards Heath station and the Showground during the South of England Bus Festival back in 2024. The bus was new to Brighton & Hove as 617 in 2003 as a convertible top bus, mainly allocated to the 77 route between Brighton and Devil's Dyke. The Scania left Brighton in 2016 and moved to Go North East, staying there until 2024 where it ended up in preservation. As usual for N94UD Scania Omnidekkas, they feature the DC9 engine with a ZF ecomat 5 speed gearbox and these things are excellent buses to ride on. The Scania DC9 engine on 3995 may be a bit tired but that didn't stop me from enjoying it! #ForTheLoveOfBuses
