DRUM COVER - Peg by Steely Dan
I'm back at it here working on some new covers with the new recording setup! Although the full kit isn't really featured in this tune from Steely Dan's 1977 album Aja, I really tried to get a good sounding balance between the kick snare, and cymbals in this recording. Rick Marotta's playing on this track might seem simple at first, but the light and intricate hi hat openings can be tricky and can really be disruptive to the sound if they're played too loudly. my hope is to have more covers up soon and eventually get back to a 2 videos a week schedule as time allows.
