The Familiarity Trap in Street Photography | Fuji XT5 with POV

The Familiarity Trap in street photography is what happens when the streets become too known, too labelled, too neatly filed away by the brain. In this video, I’m out in Petticoat Lane with the Fuji XT5 and Fuji 23mm, shooting POV and stills while looking at why familiar places can stop feeling photographic. But the problem isn’t usually the street. It’s the way we’ve closed it down. This is a video about label blindness, the stranger’s eye, and learning to stay with the ordinary until it starts behaving strangely again. Same streets. Same light. Same world. Different attention.
