$17.5k Traditional 10-Room Akiya vs $13.7k Ocean View Akiya in Okayama 【Rural Japan Series 🇯🇵】

Hi, it's Yuta. I’m traveling through rural areas across Japan in search of Akiya to buy in the future. My budget for buying a vacant house is $30,000. This time, I went to Honami, Okayama. In this video, I selected these properties with a specific layout in mind to start my own guest house. This place is about a 3-minute walk to the nearest bus stop. There is also a parking space available for a Kei-car. For grocery shopping, it takes about 25 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car. Since I love traditional Japanese architecture, the first house was absolutely perfect for me! While looking around, it hit me—the furniture and vintage items left inside might actually be worth quite a lot if sold! What did you think of these two Akiyas?
