Eddie Izzard on Bynon, Winter, 2000 - full show
Doing a full re-upload on this one. In the last year, Eddie Izzard has made a point to claim the words "trans" and "transgender" when speaking of his life, no longer identifying himself in interviews as transvestite. But what does this mean and why has it suddenly appeared in interviews? It hasn't. This interview is over sixteen years old and for nearly an hour Eddie discussed his gender identity and how "feminine" clothing is only a small part of a bigger picture. While his interviewer here was not particularly informed on gender issues, she was beautifully open-minded and seemed rather smitten by Eddie by the end of the show as well.
