Amoskeag Steam Pumper Snohomish Washington Manchester Locomotive Works 1890 Fire Department Horse
The Snohomish, Washington Fire Department purchased a horse drawn Amoskeag steam pumper in December of 1890 for $4,200. In June of 2026 it was moved to Station 41, a brand new fire station. It remains the centerpiece of the Snohomish Fire Department and a tribute to all those men and women who have served the citizens of Snohomish.
